Plain and Simple

Saw this stamp when we took our card class last Saturday.  It is really prettier in person because in the photo the glitter doesn't show.  Stamp is Penny Black Before the Snow.  It is a single tree that is stamped three times in Versa Magic Niagra Mistred bird. The glitter is Art Glitter Angel Dust.  The Versa Magic is wet enough that I just sprinkled the glitter directly on the trees and then heat set it a little with my heat gun.  The bird is from the Stampin' Up set Branch Out and stamped in Brillance Rocket Red.  Ribbon is from JoAnn's.  To put just a tiny dab of red stickles I put some on a scrap piece of paper and used a toothpick to put just a very tiny dab on the trees.  The stamped image is layered on Olive.

Did a little work outside today.  Other than that life is just the same.

Your simple card is the prettiest one I've seen in the blogosphere today (and I've seen a lot of them). What a beautiful tree stamp that is. The bird, Stickles, ribbon, and narrow olive mat are PERFECT! It is absolutely gorgeous and better yet, I suspect, in person.

Life just the same is good, too, sometimes. TFS, friend!

That is one pretty card...I love your ink choice (subtle yet striking!).
